From the Artist:
My name is Tyler Sticka; I brainstorm and create interactive and traditional visual materials for large and small businesses, campaigns and projects.
In high school, I aspired to be a cartoonist and illustrator, but boredom with the listlessness of the art world coupled with a burgeoning interest in computers and especially internet technology led me to a much more satisfying path into the world of interactive, web-based products. A few short years later, I graduated from the Art Institute of Portland with High Honors and a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media Design.
The internet and interactive realms in general are exactly what I was looking for: aesthetics in tandem with function, products with a rapid, organic context.
I specialize in web-based projects with an emphasis on communication, marketing and identity. I believe that all great art and entertainment is a conversation between creator and viewer; I pride myself on creating products that get the client and end user talking.
